On their fourth album, and first after jumping from indie Twin/Tone to major Sire, the sound of The Replacements solidifies. Gone are the adolescent hardcore songs about school and part-time jobs, replaced with wit and biting observations paired with rockabilly, country, and classic rock sounds.
