With a new Placebo album out this month, we thought it would be the perfect time to revisit the breakthrough album from this confusing and confrontational UK act. Their sophomore release, Without You I'm Nothing, moves between wholly unique sounds like Pure Morning and Allergic, to songs that conjure memories of New Order and the Smashing Pumpkins, although with the very unique vocal style of lead singer Brian Molko.
