This album is really a landmark. I was obsessed with in back in junior high in the late 80s. I went back and listened to it after your podcast. I always liked "Broken Hearts." Now, I can't stand it - than Vernon Reid's awesome guitar solo - because you pointed out how annoying the drums are! The only thing that I think you missed was the contribution of Muzz Skillings. To me, Reid's guitar is awesome, but nobody sounded like Skillings in 1988. The dude was off the charts. He is all over this album. I stopped listening to Living Colour after he left because it was never the same. Wimbish just wasn't Skillings.
