Season Eleven in Review
We look back on 2021, our eleventh year of Dig Me Out, at our favorite discoveries, new albums, and news about 2022
While 2020 seemed like it lasted several terrifying years, 2021 flew by with somehow the same number of days, and for us, episodes. As with our previous year-in-review episodes, we take a look back at our favorite new album discoveries, most brought to us by our Patreon community, as well as our most enjoyable round table experiences, and our favorite 80s album discoveries, episodes which are exclusive to our patrons. And we've got news to share about 2022!

Ministry - With Sympathy
For a long time, Al Jourgensen angrily dismissed the debut Ministry album with claims he destroyed the masters. But he eventually came around, and the album has finally seen a re-pressing, so it's time to revisit 1983's With Sympathy to find out what got Al all fired up. Synth-pop and new wave sounds dominate, with several tracks comparable to then contemporaries like Gary Numan, New Order, or Dead or Alive. But there are also some diversions that head into un-ironic Rick Astley territory that have not aged gracefully.

Albums of 1992 Roundtable
As is our yearly tradition, we're kicking off our 2022 roundtables with a look back at the Albums of 1992. We've covered many from this year on the show, but we've barely scratched the surface of what was released during the explosion of alternative into the mainstream. We'll look back, with our roundtable guests, at the overlooked, underappreciated, long-forgotten (for better or worse) of the year.
