Club Owner and General Manager

Mike was theTalent Buyer, Owner and General Manager for NYC club Brownies from 1994 - 2002. Brownies was a 200-capacity rock club in NYC’s East Village that produced about 360 shows per year. Throughout the 90s we were the first NYC venue to host bands such as: Spoon, Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith; Neutral Milk Hotel, Ben Folds Five; My Morning Jacket, Death Cab For Cutie; Muse; The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol, and many others; I negotiated contracts with booking agents; advanced and settled shows with tour managers; handled all record label ticket buys and co-promotions.

Mike has also been an Artist Manager for Bob Mould in 1997 - 98 on The Last Dog And Pony Show album cycle, along with other management projects before and after with various bands/artists.
